We hope to identifying gaps in jazz education provision across Scotland and to show how limited resources can be made best use of through collaboration. This piece of work is important to do as any new proposals or initiatives that are identified because of this research will have more chance of succeeding and accessing funds, whether from SAC or elsewhere, if it is evidence.
The Jazz Education Research is being funded by the Scottish Arts Council’s Youth Music and Scottish Jazz Federation. Results will be published on this website in 2010.
